In my role as an online retail and content creation assistant with Simply Rays/ Emray, a local Muslimah brand in Singapore, I work closely with the marketing administrator to develop creative and engaging content. I support the process by finding inspiration, giving suggestions, and incorporating my own creativity while following the marketing lead’s direction and learning her style of planning and execution. My responsibilities include editing videos using CapCut, TikTok, and Instagram, assisting with product marketing, and occasionally hosting live sessions to support sales. Our priority is producing light-hearted, funny content that connects with our audience. Through this role, I have built confidence both in front of the camera and filming in public, while maintaining a clean and presentable appearance to represent the brand professionally.

I supported Front-of-House and merchandising for the Malaysian band ''Lefthanded'' at their live show in Capitol Theatre. My duties included packing orders, recording customer details, and handling payments. With my dad involved in the organizing team, I also got to observe some of the event’s logistics and enjoy the live performance for free.

In 2024, my sister introduced me to hardcore gigs, and I started joining her and her friends regularly. Over time, I made more friends in the scene. By 2025, many of them began debuting their bands, which gave me more exposure to what happens behind the scenes. I followed them to their jamming sessions, observed bump ins and sound checks, prepare in the dressing room, and observe from backstage. Overall, this helped me slowly expose myself to this whole area.

From 2020 to 2024, I have actively performed in various settings, including school stages, SYF events, guitar ensembles (where I also conducted and guided fellow students), drum recitals, and talent competitions in which I won three gold trophies. In polytechnic, I performed in the internal “Noobs Showcase” and regularly jam with friends and family. Through these experiences, I have gained confidence on stage, developed discipline and resilience through consistent practice, learned teamwork and leadership, and refined my ability to engage and connect with an audience.
